Hi. I hope somebody can give me some advice regarding a Gimbal. I own the Sony FDR-Ax700 camcorder and wondered if I could use a Gimbal for example the Weebill S Gimbal to help me take steady videos. As I get older I have begun to suffer ( not from drink) 😂 the shakes which make the Videos not so good to watch. Advice would be appreciated.
Many Thanks
Chris

I have seen users balance and use the AX700 on a DJI Ronin SC with good results so if the weebill s has a weight limit that is within the weight of the ax700 I don't see a reason why not.
It would indeed eliminate the shakes that you're experiencing.
I have no a big experience with gimbals.
What I had see is that there are 3 factors that impact on efficiency:
- Balancing setup: it's an essential step for a good work. If the gimbal is well balanced, you have a greater stabilization and a mutch longer battery llife.
- Heavier camera: the transitions are not so good, and the battery is drained quickly.
- Lighter camera: you can meet unstable stabilization (the same if you try to power on the gimbal without any camera mounted), in most cases you can adjust PIDs in smoothest mode to meet the right regulation.
In your case, with a really light camcoder, pay attenction to first and last points
Thank you very much for assistance, I will also look into the DJI Ronin SC before I purchase. Thanks again.
