Hello everybody,
I tries to delete from the HDD Handycam utility, but there I do not have the "delete media" button as shown in the help.
Then, I tried by accessing the HDD disk volume from my computer (under Windows XP PRO) and delete manually files from there, but I get a error telling the disk is write-protected.
HELP!!
My HDD is full and I must clean lots of media I don't need to continue using it!!
Thank you in advance,
Dynamos

Have you tried the following..
I am having a similar problem. I follow the steps as laid out in the manual but i get a message which says unable to access HDDmemory.
I have contacted sony about this, they tell me i will have to send it in for repair at a cost of £176 !!
£176 for a software problem - absolutely ridiculous !!!
