Hi.
Just purchased one of these.
Great picture quality etc. Certainly more then enough for my needs and stabilization too which are my two main needs.
I do have two questions though.
On my old Panasonic the screen had a see saw type graphic that would tilt to one side to let me know if I wasn't holding the camera straight. I can't find anything similar on this Sony one. Is there a setting which I am missing?
Any workarounds if not as I am taking up vlogging on the move and have already noticed on a video it looks slightly tilted.
Also the screen is so reflective, I can't hardly see the picture some days. Has anyone made a cover for it you could maybe attach that gives you a much better view or again a work around for it that I am not aware of.
Many thanks.
Hello @vsuktwisted,
there is no digital level you can activate to see if you tilt the camera.
There should be screen protectors for the AX53 which don't reflect the light in the same way as the screen itself.

Ok, the digital level bit is a real pain. Still my fault for not properly checking before buying.
Many thanks.
Hallo vsuktwisted.
About the first question: You can use the grid lines (https://helpguide.sony.net/cam/1630/v1/en/contents/TP0000933292.html?search=grid)
About the second question: I bought this screen protector from Amazon: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B016R5L7UI/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
It protects the screen and blocks UV - it works great.
Fantastic.
Thank you very much for this. Much appreciated. 🙂
