Not able to connect xperia C to ubuntu (LINUX) for file transfer

My Ubuntu system dosent supporting Xperia C, i had made seeting change from settings/xperia/connectivity/USB connection mode / from (MTP) to (MSC). but this is still not connecting, please advice.

Do you have a microSD in the phone? MSC will not work without a microSD.
