Problems using Airplay

Hi, I have a  Sony KD-49XH9505 which I believe to be Airplay compatible

I use a Macbook Air 2020 running Ventura.  I am pretty sure I have been able to Airplay to the tv from my Mac previously but for some reason I cant seem to get it working now.

Both devices are on the same wifi network.

Both devices have up to date software.

Airplay is ON in tv settings

My tv isn't showing in the Mac screen mirroring list.  I go into the  TV Settings, make sure Airplay is enabled, go to the Airplay and Homekit section, The tv screen immediately shows a Require Code  screen with the First Time Only ticked, but there is no way to actually generate a code.    As far as I can see there is nothing in any other settings that might be preventing generating a code.  Really puzzled.   My Mac will mirror to my iPad no problem, the tv seems to not exist.   Anyone have any suggestions?  Many thanks.

Have you tried a simple Android TV reboot?

Thank you so much!   I did a power reset and the tv suddenly appeared in my Macbook mirror options, and as a a result I was able to generate a code.    Really grateful.  Thank you.
