Hi
i have Sony Bravia tv kdl32wd75x. Wanting to watch tennis using sport screen, nothing happens when I press the options button. It was working fine last week! All other buttons on remote work. I can’t see any other way of getting to screen mode selection via any other menu either! Any ideas? Thanks
Hi clecky,
Welcome to the community.
I'll look into this for you and see if I can find out. Someone else in the community may be able to advise in the meantime.
Thanks,
Pascale
Hi Clecky,
Have you tried going to Home - Settings - System Settings - Picture - Picture Mode?

Hi
Thanks but doing that does not give the options of Sport, Cinema and I think general Until this week if I clicked options these were offered. ( and tbh I only used it for first time the other week so it’s not been over used) Picture Settings just gives Vivid Standard and Custom. It’s not the same. I’m intrigued as all other buttons on remote are working and when I press Options I can see the white light at bottom of TV flashing so it’s clearly emitting IR signal. Can Sony help? Cheers
Hi Clecky,
The Options button is meant to display the available settings that you can change on the fly for the selected input. So you depending on the input you're using, some/all of the options may not be available.
What is the source you're watching to get your tennis matches (Antenna, Set-top box, external player, app, etc.)?
If you choose other sources, do you still get nothing when you press Options?

Hello
I am doing nothing different to two weeks ago. Two weeks ago, watching BBC Live Tennis Queen's ( via Freeview aerial) on Sony TV, not using set up box or catch up etc. This week, watching BBC Live Tennis Wimbeldon on TV via Freeview areial). Options never worked as far as I recall when watching any film on Ctacup or via a streaming device. Always worked on normal TV transmissions. Nothing has changed in set up. Doesn't make sense.
Thanks
Hi Clecky,
Have you made sure that the action button itself is working? I'd recommend doing a camera test as explained here:

Hi Clecky,
Is the software up to date? This link explains how to update the software of the TV: https://www.sony.co.uk/electronics/support/lcd-tvs-wd75x_w75xd-series/kdl-32wd756/downloads/00016216
