KD49XE9005BU is it 10bit or 8bit

Specifications says 10bit but when connected to sky Q it can only see 8bit do i need to  enable it.

If so how.

It is a true 10 bit panel https://www.displayspecifications.com/en/model/50e1ad8

 

Note you need to turn on Enhanced format  Home -> Settings-> External inputs -> HDMI signal format. Probably just HDMI 2 & 3. It will tell you on the Enhanced format description.

 

Sorry only just seen you are using Sky Q (like me). Yes Enhanced format and use HDMI 2 assuming you are using HDMI 3 (ARC) to connect to a sound system.
