KD43XH8505 TV Guide
I've recently bought a new Sony Bravia KD43XH8505, picture and features are all great except for the TV guide which doesn't seem to work. At the moment, it shows current programmes on BBC1 & 2 currently and the next programme but nothing after, on ITV/4/5 and all the others it shows 'no programme information'.
Bought it off John Lewis, they've sent an engineer out who couldn't resolve it so they're going to replace the TV next week.
Anyone else had the same problem and any suggestions as to whether it is the TV or a connection problem? (we had no issues with the previous TV).

These things are always difficult to diagnose without actually having it in front of you...
Are you using the standard Freeview programme guide or is it the YouView guide that requires internet connectivity?
If the former then I would begin by looking at channel signal strengths and possible reception/tuning issues, if the latter then I've no quick answer.

Factory Reset the TV, and when setting it up again, accept the T&Cs, etc., individually, rather than the blanket acceptance of all of them that is offered.
And yes, I know it sounds crazy, but......
My favourite bedtime reading is a Sony product manual…

Pleased to here you have it sorted.
Some regions have undergone big changes to the transmitters with the last retune, Winter Hill (North West England) for example moving from group C/D (top of the band) down to group A (bottom of band). Old grouped aerials would perform really badly in these kind of cases.
