Many of the 4K Blu-rays that I have (e.g. Zack Snyder's DC Comics movies) are rendered in HDR10+, which of course is not supported by my 2019-manufactured 55" Sony AG9 TV. So, the BluRay player defaults to HDR10, when it detects that the TV does not support HDR10+. HDR10 (IMO) is very flat, compared to Dolby Vision. Is there any way I can set up the picture on the TV to improve the HDR quality when playing an HDR10+ BluRay?
My Blu-Ray player supports DV, HDR10+, HDR10 and HLG discs
Or perhaps there are some manual adjustments that I can make on the BluRay player to boost the HDR. It does have quire a gamut of "advanced" picture settings, which I have not dared to mess with, so far!
