Is it OK to expect Android Oreo on 2017 Sony Android TVs?
and BTW, the only things I read from your complains is the UI brigthness on XF90, that does not happen on my OLED panel. Why are you implying that I am not objective? Am I denying something that I cannot check by myself?
I described my opinion on the operation of the new firmware on xf9005, in the network segment there is an opinion to dismiss testers.
@Andrey_Dnepr I do not see any reference by your name on anything else apart the brightness and previous complain about HDR mode switching... may be I am not able to look at what you wrote (but in that case I do not think I even answer to that)
ок google 6.6510 brightness, try it.
Sorry but I dedicate already too much time to the community to look also to the whole internet. It does not happen on my own tv
Cheers.
In my country we have a saying: A coincidence that repeats it is not a coincidence.I find very it weird everytime someone complains in this thread there is someone else replying how awesome and without any issues the firmware is.Interesting eh?
People, on 6.6510 you dont have any issues, you like brightness your tv, you update your tv on this firmware???
So, just to clarify, this UI brightness issue emerges only under HDR conditions, right? On SDR there is no problem.
And does this affect the subtitles too? Do subtitles display through the mediatek video pipeline or through the x1 video pipeline process (eg. in netflix app)?
