If preferred network type includes 4g (4g/3g/2g or 5g/4g/3g/2g) and the phone connected through LTE become unavailable for incoming calls (does not change network type to 3g or 2g to receive incoming voice call). And works if preferred network type set to 3g/2g.
Any suggest, please
Russia, Saint-Petersburg. AT-51 version (1 SIM card slot). The problem is observed only with operator Yota (MVNO) which does not provide VoLTE and vowi-fi services.
According to the forum, this problem is observed by two more users with the same operator and phone in the same city.
With other operator SIM card where is no problem and VoLTE and VoWiFi work.
Both SIM cards work perfectly on the old Xperia X compact phone.
the same problem with the xperia 5 mark II
Are both devices bought from the Operator with the customized software they integrate to support the feature, or are they bought from Amazon for an example?
Both devices are Sim Free and have dought from Sony Store
That's probably why they're not supporting the WiFi calls, you can use any social media messaging app instead, there's a good app named Telegram, I use it because it allows extra security and encryption to my messages and calls over the internet.
It's all about cellular voice calling. Bank won't call me through Telegram
Ahem truuu that, I was just saying for entertainment calls with friends and family and all.
Xperia 5 Mark II has same problem: when phone in 4G mode no input calls at all.
hey there, have you bought your device from the operator? as many people agree it needs to be set from their side to work perfectly.
