4K recording lag/ feedback issue update.

Hello,

 Having issue with 4k recording, when I start recording I notice a slight lag and at time the video seems to be slightly choppy, I have an xz premium and don't have this issue recording in 4k.

I have repair the phone software and only installed the apps that I needed, I have tried this in safe mode and it doesn't seem to replicate, not does this seems to replicate in the cinema pro app. It may be software related, any help on this pleas.

These are my configuration for 4k recording

HDR off

Stabilisation off (believe it or not, it stabilises better off than on)

Saving to SD card v30 for 4k recording.

Again this may be something other users are having issues with by the research if done, is Sony aware of this and are they working on this.

After some more testing ,it seems this does happen in safe mode as well, again only solution I have found to this problem is to.clear apps then start the camera app and it works flawlessly, I have tried 3 different memory cards all rated for 4k video recording and it still has the same effect even with internal storage

Any suggestions and is anyone else experiencing this issue ? Either it is the stabilisation doing this, there is a memory leak or overall software issue, I don't wanna say hardware issue as again this isn't replicated kn every scenario and seems to clear when when apps are cleared and as soon as you hit the camera button and start recording there is no lag or stutter or freeze.

Again the worst I have experienced is just a small stutter and a 1 sec or so freeze.

I've had three Xperia 1 phones and every one of them had the same issue from day 1 even wen recording strating out of the box with no additional apps installed. The 4k vidoe is unusable for me and Sony completely ignored this fact. They basically released a flagship phone in 2019 without 4k visoe abilities. Worst company ever for customer support as when contacted they suggsted to use 1080 instead...

Hi thanks, can you explain what is actually happening when recording 4k, is it the same issues above ? And are you running Android 10 on them?

You forget the joke that is called OIS

At least its OIS until 1080p as PROVEN by my youtube channel, anything over 1080p shakes worse than a leaf during a gale.

Very true, again I posted a little vid I made in this thread, Sony encounter the same issue and do you believe this is to do with the ois causing the issue?
