Hi all,
Repair comments when I had setup the repair via My Sony.
Whilst the phone was on charge overnight the phone had overheated and the screen had cracked due to the heat; the screen was replaced a few months ago and I feel as I have been let down by Sony due to the many problems with the phone. The microphone is quiet when you are using it to make a call and the receiver can't hear you that well. The headphone jack is also loose and the left channel is quieter than the right. I would like a replacement Z5 Premium due to the number of issues I have had. Due to the phone not functioning properly I have been unable to respond to important calls and sms.
The phone had overheated and the screen had cracked (see pictures below). Upon sending the phone in for repair and the worst repair agent SBE has deemed it out of warranty and they have raised a quotation for a new LCD which I would have to pay for even though the phone had overheated. I had placed a glass screen protector which had not cracked but I had removed it prior to sending it in.
I have escalated this to the Escalations team who will contact me back after they complete further testing to find out what had occured.
I went to the service tests...But the Battery Test was missing
