My wife's Xperia Z5 Premium Dual Sim (E6883) now shows "No Service" after upgrading to 7.1.1. (32.4.A.0.160). I tried so many things; restarting the phone, switching the SIM slot, switching to 2G, downloading mobile network settings (via wifi), and finally performing a factory reset. None of these fixes the phone, I am unable to take calls or messages, it does not show any signals, just says "No Service"
Does anyone have an inkling as to what else I could try, please?
Solved! Go to Solution.
@GogulA
- try swapping some sim cards
- Try in safe mode without SD
- either of the above didn't work? Then downgrade to MM or to ur last working build using flashtool. > this will definitely help
Do a software recovery in Xperia Companion.
Thanks samavar, for your response.
Onfortunately though, even repairing the software through the Xperia companion did not work. The issue is still there.
Do you think you can point me in any other direction?
Thanks once again
I am still unable to find a solution to this problem. Is there any Sony representative who could help me out with this please?
Swapping the SIMs didn't work. However the safe mode booting option worked!
Thanks so much for being a life save, @pravi!!!
Having the same issue since the last update. Tried switching Sim card, factory resets and all but nothing seems to work...
Hi
The problem came back after a few weeks, and the remedy which I tried the first time only worked for a day, and signals died again. I'm sick of this Xperia, it's lying at the bottom of a cupboard...
