This morning I've updated my Z5 Compact to 7.1.1. During the update it ran incredibly hot (barely untouchable), but neither could I abort the update nor would I have dared to.
After the update, the phone seems incredibly slow. On the home screen, the icons load at a rate of one icon per second. Opening apps takes close to a minute.
The front camera now only shows a pinkish circle which quickly turns into a white screen, which then gets filled by black horizontal lines. The ambient light detector seems to be erratic, too, as it constantly adjusts the screen brightness.
Did the update permanently damage my hardware? If that's the case how do I open a new warranty case?
