Same problem here on the Z5, all are preinstalled widgets.

Not as far as I am aware. The Sony clock.is one that disappears.

I also have the same problem. 

The preinstalled Sony clock disappears, as well as the "welcome to xperia" widget, plus any app widgets I add.  The only one that has stayed is the preinstalled accuweather app. I haven't moved anything to the SD card.

This has happend to me also.

Using the stock Sony Launcher with all Apps on device (none on SD Card).

All widgets dissapear after restart:

Outlook Inbox

Calendar

MeClockWidget

Power Toggles

Slider Widget

Google Keep

Email

Gmail

I've 'upgraded' from a Z1 and so far I can't say I'm very impressed with this new device.

Hope Sony can sort it soon.

My workaround for this issue is to back up the home screen and then reinstate it after restart.

Settings - Backup & reset - More - Manual backup - Untick everything except Xperia home layout - Hit backup.

In the absence of any kind of support from Sony I hope this helps other Z5c owners.

I have the same issue with my Z5 white. After restating my moblie phone the next morning some preinstalled widgets including the Sony clock was gone. Furthermore on of the various desktops is gone. I didn't move them to the SD card.I find this a bit disappointing because I've got this phone for just 7 days! Hopefully Sony will provide soon a solution.
