Z3 C microphone problem

When I receive calls then microphone is not working for first 2 seconds and people can't hear me.

Is this some kind software problem or I should swap this phone for new one?

I mean it's sad but some times funny how my calls start like Skype calls where first thing you say is "Can You hear me?"

This problem have not occurred while calling out only while receiving calls.

i have the exact problem and went through the steps you did. Sony have now asked for the phone to be sent to thier repair centre. i will inform all on the outcome

Well I have the answer...dont buy a Sony as you can see the date of my last post my phone still has the microphone issue and to top it off they sent the phone back with a smashes back screen and are refusing to repair or even take responsibility. I have email proof from their repair team that the back screen was intact when they received the phone. Very very poor show. Apple im on my way back
