Hi, I have a problem with a Xperia Z5. I had my phone stolen and I got it back. Unfortunately, the person who stole it had reset the phone and was using it himself, and I have no idea how he did it.
I'm currently resetting the phone using Xperia Companion, I know it will probably ask for my Google account once it resets. Is there any chance my account is still on the phone? I was almost sure that if someone tried to reset my phone MXTP would activate, but it evidently did nothing.
What if I type my account and it's not there anymore? Will it get locked or something?
I made some research and I found out it's actually very easy to bypass it, so is it worth taking the risk or should I just bypass the password? Thanks.

So, I was able to start the phone without typing anything, it just never asked for a password or an account. Thanks a lot!
Yes, I did. But it didn't seem to work after I got robbed, I was able to track it with the Google Manager app, but the day after it wasn't working anymore.
