Hi all
i want to check if this phone " Xperia Z5" have the feature Charging optimization or not and if it has it
will turning it off end the problem after the 6.0.1 with battery ?
and how is the battery life for web browsing and youtube video without gaming ?
Solved! Go to Solution.
If you use this firmware version 32.0.A.4.11 than the estimated battery life is 3 days and 4 hours and 8 -9 days in standby mode it is a top version. This firmware was already installed when I bought my Z5 and I still use it
so it's Z5 forum and no one can open his settings and check if the problem was with the Charging optimisation or not ?
What problems?
You can enable or disable Charging optimization, it is up to you.
The Battery Problem
i heard that xperia z5 in 5.1.1 would last 2 days with moderate use just like z3
but after the 6.0.1 it wouldn't last a one day
would it be because of charging optimization ? or it has a software bug ?
Battery life is worst in 6.0.1
in software version 32.2.A.0.305 and so there is no improvement
Lollipop is much better than Marshmallow
and that's what i was talking about
did you tried to disable the Charging Optimisation settings ? and did it worked for you improve the battery life ?
cause in Z3 it was a really annoying proplem and caused alot of problem with battery life
Is the same as Z3. Yes i tried it to disble but nothing helps.
I advise you to stay on Android 5.1
so a simple quastion no one can answer it and everybody tell me to go with sony and buy it again
it have the badest support ever !!!!!
I think the "problem" with Z5's battery life is related to Marshmallow. And as far as I know, there's no (a strong) relationship between Charging Optimization and battery life, it just keeps the battery of smartphones healthy, more charging cycles (lifespan). Perhaps you could get a bit of more juice disabling the charging optimization, but honestly, I don't think is that much.
PS.
The only trick I have found that saves battery is disabling Google Location Wi-Fi/Bluetooth scanning, like an extra 10-15% of battery at the end of the day. However, I have never been able to get 2 days of battery with my Z5 with moderate use.
