Hi, last week my Xperia Z3 Dual has returned from a warranty repair (it had screen issues - yellow spot and peeling off left corner). Sony service fixed the reported issues, along with some other things, and I was super happy. Until I compared my current screen with a photo of it (done at the same screen settings) before repair. My "old" screen was free of any top edge backlight bleeding and my "new" one has it very noticeable. Below I'm attaching links to photos before and after repair. Is it just me being picky or maybe I should reach out to my local Sony service (I live in Poland) and report it? Thanks in advance, it's really bugging me.

The screen settings for both photos were 50% brightness and auto-brightness switched off.

Here it is, circled: http://i.imgur.com/fQgkJpK.jpg It's definitely noticeable when seeing in real life, maybe photos don't show it that well. I've compared my phone after repair with a few of my friends' units - none of them had such bleed on the top edge. Neither had mine before it was repaired.

Thanks for your reply, glad I'm not the only one seeing it (my friends actually laughed me out, they don't care too much about their phones). I'll contact Sony service again and present the issue.
Hi, I know it's been a while since you posted this issues, but I have the same problem right now so I was just wondering if you were able to resolve it? Did they replace the screen for you?
I have the same issue with top edge backlight bleed, but repair center in Croatia refuses to fix it. They say everthing is fine with it.
This is how it looks...
