Xperia Z won't charge nor switch on! Help?

Hi guys last night I drained my battery on my Xperia Z because I was a whole day out and got in at my cousins house around 4am and he had no chargers. So my battery went flat...came home about 30mins ago, I plugged the charger and nothing is happening.

The phone is not charging, the led light is not coming on, the screen neither.

I'm a little bit worried now, as I still have left it on charge and when I press the power button the LED red light comes on, but nothing is happening.

Anyone knows what the problem is? I'm scared it's dead ://

My battery went completely flat, left on charge overnight but it's still dead and no red light.

I hold down the power button and the red light comes on and after a while it switches on, but goes straight off

I assume it's not charging as my charger turns red when in use and at the moment it only turns red when holding the power button.

any advice?

Power and Volume down button worked for me, I had a mixture of red led on after power press and and 3 flashes from red led after power press. No Boot, No Charge. Tried the reset and it booted with 1 % battery even though it had been on charge all night, What causes this problem?

The phone while on 20% battery charge just goes dead and ever since I plugged it in for charging. the red light come on but very dim and the phone can not be switched on. Any help from somebody please?.
