Xperia Z - cant turn off message vibrate function

everytime i receive a text message, the phone vibrates, but if i put it on silent mode, the vibration stops, i cant seem to find a solution where

i can only use the message tone without vibrate. i just want my message tone to play when i receive a text and i dont want the phone to vibrate.

i tried turning off vibrate when ringing in settings but to no avail.:smileycry:

Go into messaging > menu button > settings > unmark the "notification vibration".

but what about the vibration everytime you touch keyboard? I dont want that function. I love my phone, but i hate that it vibrates everytime i touch a keypad including this.

Turn on/off haptic feedback

To turn on or turn off haptic feedback vibration, follow these steps:

1. From the alphabet keyboard, tap the Settings icon.
2. Tap Keyboard settings.
3. Tap Sound and vibration.
4. Select or clear the Vibration on keypress check box.

Go to Message inbox tap onto the 3 dots at the upper right side=> Settings and and unchecked the vibration option.

When my phone is on silent how do I turn the vibration off..I have my phone on silent when I sleep but the vibration still Wakes me up

Vibration on new Msg notification is still there. After unmarking vibration on notification button in Msg setting menu.
Any other solution for this problem?
