Sony Z3 compact, constantly vibrating

I have been using this phone fine up until now. I have taken it to a local phone store and asked for any help /assistance but have got nowhere. I have tried plugging into the laptop and updating the software but this has not resolved the problem. I have also tried letting the phone die out by its self but no luck, any help would be appreciated

Did you find an answer? My phone was fine until 9:30 this morning and now is a constant buzzing/vibrating noise. It's like a whole bee hive is inside my phone. Any solutions? Tried to restart and turn off for over 30 minutes and nothing.

I'm afraid this does sound to be hardware related but there are a few things you can try.

First I would recommend that you force shutdown your device, to do so press and hold the volume up and on/off key down simultaneously for at least 10 seconds. Then try starting the device as normal.

If its the same behavior try to reboot your device to safe mode to see if this behavior is caused by one of your downloaded apps as these are temporarily disabled in this mode.

If there is no change you can perform a software repair using Xperia Companion to rule out that anything software related is causing this behavior.

If there is still no change I suggest you get in contact with your Local support team for assistance with having your device sent in to an authorized service center for further troubleshooting and repair.
