Recently my phone asked me to enter the pattern code after I used my finger print to sign-in (which is nothing new), only this time the pattern is apparently incorrect... The rediculious thing about this is my finger print scanner has always worked incredibly well, and now sadly because of this requirement to enter a pattern code, I'm unable to access my phone.
If I could somehow revert to unlocking my phone with the finger print scanner it would work. Sadly I have no idea how to do this, and no cue as to why my phone's pattern, which has been the same for a very long time, is no longer working.
Please help me!
*Edit*
I just got a reply from sony, they told me to repair my phone with the Xperia Companion tool. The problem with this suggestion is I'll lose my data! However, the greater problem is that the Xperia Companion tool won't even allow me the repair my phone until it is unlocked, but I can't unlock it since the pin pattern is no longer working...
I forgot to add that I tried using the lock method through my google/song account, but that seems to only work on older versions of android... I really just need the pattern requirement to be removed, since my finger print still scans correctly.
