Quick charge, does it really work?

My Xperia Z5 Premium is supposed to be able to charge in about 45 minutes with the new feature in these phones but it takes more than 2 hours, just like a regular charger. I have already checked that the charger in the retail is in fact compatible with the quick charge (UCH 10), the only unusual thing is that it comes in a shape that is probably for other territories and not compatible with my plugs but it comes as well with an adaptor. I would be really thankful if someone could help me.

Okay so I own a Z5 Dual phone and I wanted to have faster charging. I then purchased the Official Sony Quick Charger 2.0 (UCH10) and started using it with the USB cable that had been included with it. But, when I started using it, it was acting the same as the stock charger (UCH20). On the description it states that the QC 2.0 is 5V = 1800mA then 9V = 1700mA and 12V = 1275mA.

While using the QC 2.0 I also downloaded an app called Ampere which measures the current and power that a charger is producing. But it said that the Max USB current was 1500mA.

a) Why is that?

b) Why does my quick charger seem the same as the stock charger?

c) Does the QC take effect when the phone is both switched on and off?

d) I was also getting about 14% from 0% after a 15 minute charge.

try to charge while you are in safe mode, how much charge do you get in 10 minutes, compared with normal charger in 10 minutes?

Okay so I tested it in Safe Mode using the QC 2.0 Charger:

10mins went from 46% to 54%.

I'm using a third party Quick charger and the result is attached and from 8% to 100% in 1 hour and 56 minutes.

Is the charging speed fine as quick charge like 9V-2A or its equal to 5V-2A?
And
Could someone tell me the charging time and speed who are using the Sony Quick charge UCH10

2 days ago I bought an OEM Samsung Fast Adaptative charger.

When the phone's temperature is under  40°C, it measures 2000 mA

However, as soon as the phone reaches 41°C, it goes down to 1100 mA and never gets higher

Why is this?

Can anyone confirm that fast charging is working using UCH10 on the Z5 and how long it takes?

I have the Z5 dual but charging is no faster with UCH10 charger.

I have compatible QC3 charger and magnetic cable with white LED (which is lit whenever there's power). When I connect QC3 charger to my Z5C through magnetic cable, LED becomes a little brighter in about 2 seconds after connection, so QC mode is working. No complaints here.

How long does it take to charge using quick charge compatible charger?

Can anyone confirm what the lock screen displays when using a quick charger? I.e does it show 'charging rapidly' or just charging?
