Hi @Alias393, sorry to hear about this.

Have this headset worked previously with your Xperia Z1? If they have, try resetting the Smart connect application in your phone.

To do that, go to Settings > Apps > Smart connect > Clear data > OK > restart your phone and connect the headset again.

If its a new headset, could you try and connect another pair to your phone and see if you experience the same behaviour?

It keeps popping "headset not supported. please visit Sony support site" every time I'm using the phone and it annoy me. Help!

Hi, Jonas. I did try as you suggested and not using the same headset but I only tried 1 headset right after I restart the phone and it still the same. Should I use more than 1 headset to see whether it works or do you have any other way to solve this matter? Anyway, thank you for the help!

Hi again!

If you have the possibility to try another headset that would be great. That we can see if this is caused by the phone or if the error message is telling us the truth!

You can also make sure that this is not caused by a third party application by rebooting your phone in safe mode. In safe mode all applications that you have downloaded and installed on your own are not loaded.

Have you tried any of the troubleshooting that I have posted previously in this thread? If you have, are you still experiencing this behaviour?
