Phone's screen (sony xperia z3v) keeps shutting off by itself

I press the power button or double tap the screen, and, in about 3-5 seconds, the phone's screen closes again. It's to the point where I have no time to put in my passcode without the screen closing. Thus, I can't restart the phone either because the screen closes. Please help!!

You can use Mac bridge instead of PC Companion for Windows

Thank you. I just turned off stamina mode, and now i can use my phone without the screen turning off. Hopefully we can find a way to use stamina mode and not have it turn off.

i left mt sony z3  on a charger an d later the phone was off, when i try to switch it on it didnt turn on, but when i plug a charger it keeps showing ''sony xperia'' and then turns off and it shows again and turn off and it does that agai and again without turning on.   please help i really love this phone and its warrent has expired unfortunatelly
