Phone dead, red LED blinks when trying to charge

Hello, since yesterday my phone refuses to turn on.

It does not react to anything at all.

When a charging cable is connected, the red LED blinks: It stays on for 3 second, then goes out for one second.

I tried:

 - leaving the device charging for a night

 - removing SD and sim card

 - holding the OFF button near the SIM card for 2 minutes

 - holding the OFF button together with volume down for 20 seconds

None of the above showed any reaction of the device.

Is there anything else I could do?

What does the 3 second on, 1 second off blink pattern of the red LED mean? (only happens when "charging", never stops)

I experienced it with my Z1c last year also tried everything. from charging with red blinking lights then if it stays charging nothing pops up on the screen. even I tried to start with the power button nothing on the screen. since my phone was still on a warranty at that time, It was ended up for changing motherboard in the service center.
