I have the latest version of PC Companion, and my Xperia Z has been added to Devices and Printers, however, when I connect my phone to my laptop I get a message "Drivers not installed" and PC Companion searches and searches but never connects to my Xperia Z, even though it is showing in Devices and Printers.
So It is impossible for me to install the latest System update as I cannot seem to to do it with the laptop, and from what I understand, it is no longer possible to do it over WiFi, as before, which always worked for me. (why change it if it ain't broke?)
Believe me, I have tried all ways to get it to work, God knows how I have tried, even uninstalling PC Companion and re-installing it again......nothing seems to work.
Can anyone please help to solve my problem? :smileycry::smileycry::smileycry:
Thankyou in advance.

All the updates are not possbile to do via the phone, OTA (Over the Air). And when a new update is released, it can take a longer time before this update is available via the phone. If want to know more about software roll out process and how it works, I suggest that you take a look at this topic.
