Hi,
I dropped my Sony Xperia Z2 Friday night, not even from that high and unfortunately the glass on the screen cracked all over. I needed to get it sorted quick so I had a phone for work and University once the working week began again and found at place today that would fit me a new screen within a couple of hours which cost me £130 ($208). I’ve gotten it home and I seem to be having a problem which occurred with the Sony Xperia Z where It has a red light at the top of my phone while charging and has been on charge now for close to one hour and will not turn on, I’ve tried the red button inside and also the on switch with the volume button also and totally nothing.
I'm also now worried my phone will not be under warranty if I needed to send it off to a Sony Centre to be fixed as I've let someone tamper with my phone, but can't afford to fork out for a brand new premium handset. May also be able to take it back to the repair store but it seems like this is a problem with Xperia's as a whole.
Any help much appreciated.

Getting a non authorised service centre to repair your device without having the ability to test for other issue is a problem - They may have fixed the screen but in doing so could have caused more damage and there is no way to prove or disprove this which causes a problem as firstly having a non authorised person disassemble your phone voided your warranty so this means that Sony can not be held responsible for other damage which may have been caused by this repair you had carried out

Will have to hope they can sort it out, thanks.
