Getting rid of the "Search Application" Bar and Suggested App tab

I'm using a Xperia Z3 with Android 6.0.1.

The thing I hate most about the new layout is the "Search Application" Bar and the Suggested App tab. For someone who doesn't have many apps, these were annoying because they made checking the time and battery status a hassle since one has to swipe down to do so. So far, I have not found a way to get rid of these two, so please Sony, in the next pdate please make these optional.

Don't forget to send your feedback to Sony directly >>> Local support, you can also use a third party home launcher.

Hi @Times,

There is unfortunately no standard setting to remove the searchbar. I can however, forward this as user feedback.

As @uliwooly mentioned you can look for a third party launcher on Google Play that does not feature a searchbar similar to the one used in the Xperia Home-launcher.
