I've had my Z3 for a little short of 3 months and to my utter disgust the screen is coming away in the top right corner near the camera.
This is causing problems with the proximity sensor in that when I've finished a call I can't get the screen to wake again and also the loud speaker at the top only works if I'm pushing the screen back down.
Has anyone else had any issues like this?
Thanks
Andy
Yes i have two them the same both from different network providers when i set one off they said that it's been repaired before then it was water damage and over use i don't know what to do next
I am with vitgin they come back with different reasons why the phone is like it i am going to take it to a virgin shop
i can vouch for this i have recentlty had the same problem on a 5 weekold phone

My Sony z3 has a falling screen too. If it won't hold tapet (scotch tape) like this for about 2 years they lost another costumer.
The proximity sensor has an issue of its own. And the screen is slowly, completely detaching, not only in the corner(s). This was my 5th Sony, only Sonys in the last 11 years, but I might find something reliable.
The same just happened to my girlfriends phone after only a day! This was after convincing my girlfriend to buy a Sony Z3 and not a second hand iPhone :/.
Cant believe some retailers are trying to make customers pay for this. The top right corner is clean lifting off. This is clearly a manufacturing defect.
Mine has just gone exactly the same as others have said, definitely never been dropped, will contact Sony and virgin as this must be a manufacturer fault .
