In case anyone needs the instructions to turn off the setting again, Android 5 this is where I did it:

Google Now > Settings > Voice > "OK Google" detection.

I RESOLVED!
I had turned on "Ok Google" and configured it listen "From any screen". Looks like Google try then listen all the time and blocks FM Radio output to headphones and also to speakers😀

Kudos to who show how to fix this...it's not a bug but function to ease disabled using "Google Now."
If you still want to use Google Now just switch off screen then 📻 will working just fine.

When the "OK Google" detection is enable on any screen, the FM radio app does not output any sound. Everything else in the FM radio app works, e.g. tuning, but no sound.

After disabling the "OK Google" detection, the FM radio works again.

However this "OK Google" setting has a bug of it's own. Every once and a while in enables itself automatically.

Pretty annoying.

But the problem only appears on Radio FM. So Sony should update their app to work with OK Google.

just turn off  ___ from any screen____ option in "OK GooGL" ..... and it will start working !!!!!!
