Cant reply to SMS texts

Hello,

Ive been getting marketing text messages from companies. I know Im legaly entitled to reply to these messages with the word STOP to stop receiving them. However Ive noticed lately that there is no option to reply and no sender number.

Is there a way to reply to these texts?

Yes I do but this issue is through the standard SMS.

Oh I know. I just wanted to ask to let you know about another similar issue you may run in to in the future.

Viber feeds your info to a Russian networking site called VK.

So if you get random marketing messages through Viber... It's likely this... Or from Rakuten... Or the Amazon monitoring..  or Western Union.

Hi @JohnB440, I understand that it's very frustrating to get marketing text messages.

I'm afraid there is no setting for this in the phone since it's up to the sender of the specific text message if they allow you to answer the text message or not.

As @nolramlb mentioned your service provider might be able to assist you with getting these numbers blocked so they can't send you text messages.
