camera button always bring up camera in superior auto

not like camera app that brings up the camera with previously selected mode, the camera button  always bring up camera with superior auto mode.

not convenience, certainly need to work in sync?

That's how it works,most probably to be able to take instant shots of something you see. Manual mode will need more to save the photo. Anyhow,this has been forwarded to sony several times.

of course i want instant shot with the setting i just set, like per the scene around.

I agree with you, it has been requested before and it will be great to set up the quick launch camera.

I don't like it too. There is no way to select the default camera mode. You can use camera widget instead of camra button. To select mode instantly from home screen

Also, the menu after update to Anddroid 6 is very hard to handle. When you chose an effect like Panorama or Time Shift...then you can't go back to regular camera mode, no button to get you back but to exit altogether from camera. The upside menu to chose photo, video, effects is very small and when you're outside in a bright Sun can't see anything. Peope should test those before bring them to market. What if I see an UFO and have to act quickly?
