Broken screen

My screen was broken and I need to repair it.
I am from Israel and the problem is that the local support of sony, in my country, providing the service at minimum charge of 300$(it can be more). The price of a new and better model of xperia is about the same as the cost of repairing.

I need some help/advice to know what should i do???

The warranty terms in my country does not include broken screen,
this is the reson why I am searching for another solution.

what other solution are you looking for? you have 2 options either go through Sony and keep the warranty and keep the water resitant OR DIY it might be cheaper but you could damage the phone, the warranty will be gone for sure.

I do not need the warranty because it will be over in about one month.
What I do need is a new original screen for my phone.

The problem is that in my country it is very expensive to repair it.

So I am asking for other solutions like sending the phone to other country with SONY service, someone knows if it is possible? And for how much(in other countries)?
