Boot stuck on waves, PC companion is not helpful

Hi guys,

So today, my Xperia Z2 just shut down. Plugged it into the mains charger, pressed the red button near SIM and it turned on, left it to charge till Green LED, turned it on again and 1st time got a padlock with spinning circle, then it shut down, now getting waves and the phone shuts down. Have used PC companion 3 times and have completed the repair, but still stuck on the waves. 

Would really appreciate some assistance.

Is there nothing I can do, like use FlashTool etc?

What do you reckon the problem is?

you could remove the SIM and SD cards but it might be a hardware issue.

Already. Tried that

Would you advice against using FlashTool to see if that works?

If the software repair using Xperia Companion has completed successfully and hasn't resolved the issue it is unlikely that FlashTool will do anything different. The best thing to do in this situation is as @uliwooly said, contact your Local support team.
