Bluetooth starts by itself

After last system update, Bluetooth activate by itself. Why?
I never use BT so it's silly that it activates and use battery when not needed.
Anyone got a solution?

Hi @Tommylomsk,

I'm sorry to hear you are experiencing this with your Xperia Z5. If you turn off Bluetooth in your device how long does it take before it turns back on? If you restart your device does this happen right away?

I would recommend that you try and reboot your phone to safe mode to see if this behavior is caused by one of you downloaded apps as they are temporary disabled in this mode.

This is a longshot, but there is an app called "Smart Connect" as part of the Sony suite of apps preinstalled on the device that has the capability to turn radios on and off automatically based on certain criteria; have you checked that there is no event in this app which is turning your radio on and off?

Same here,

Bluetooth turning ON by it self (even couple of times per day!).

Sometimes it's pernament and i have to turn it off manualy, but in most cases i just see bluetooth icon on the uppper bar for a 1-3 sec right after i wakeup my phone. When i scroll down to fast settings the bluetooth is already off. Realy annoying.

I had this problem on Marshmallow. I tought it'll go away with new Nougat update but it didn't...

Any ideas beside factory reset / companion fix?

I have a Z5 also, Today my Bluetooth has turned on at least 10 tomes by itself. I think this may be after installing an application called smart things...  It's really frustrating.  But this comment has helped I will just delete the app
