Screen used one third of the battery charge in three hours. How is the brightness set? Anyway it seems to work fine.

FRom time to time I wipe the cache partition and, after a couple of days, the phone works smoother and cooler.

@Masper

We'll need more info to better assist you

charge the phone 100% use it as you normally would then once the battery reaches 10%

settings > battery > take screenshots of:

1. the list

2. tap on the graph and take a screenshot

3. back > tap on the top 4 items on the list > take a screenshot of each

post them all here or upload the screenshots to box or dropbox or google drive or etc and post the link

Keep in mind that whatsapp its one of the top battery hogs, as well as facebook. Take the screenshots and post them here.

@Masper

There's nothing wrong with your phone, you have WiFi on most of the time and the screen and the phone are awake most of the time.

Not really. Lithium batteries get primed after some cycles, then start to hold less charge during a long time.
If you use them well you should end with 80% of the capacity after 1000 cycles, depending on the quality.

They don't have any memory like ni-mh so you don't have to drain them all down the line before recharge.

One cycles means the charge from 0 to 100% or more fractions of that. If you start to charge from 50%, you have to do it twice to complete one cycle. If you start from 90% it means ten times to complete and so on.

By the time that you will be at the end of those 1000 cycles you will ne already "lurking" your next phone Winking_Face

P.s.: sorry for the eventual mistakes but the combination between the MM automatic corrector and being not an english mother tongue is devastating...

Uh... And use quickchargers only if really needed or, at least, leave your device where it can dissipate the heat, like a glass surface for example. The worst enemy of batteries is the heat.

Mine hobby is to build battery powered model aeroplanes. so I am used to lithium batteries.

After couple of days with lollipop which was fine, when ı setup the marshmallow everything about the battery went wrong. After full usage of the battery ı calculated everything and total amount is equal to the half of full capacity.I would like to know what could be the reason behind it ı mean why I can't charge up to 2900 mah ı don't understand.I checked other user's screen times most of them has longer screen times and screen uses almost half of the battery which means 1400-1500 mah whereas my screen only uses 400 mah is this normal?
Pls help me with this
Thx in advance

Hi @Graves,

After you performed the update, did you update all your apps too?
