I started a new user guide a while ago, that did a walkthrough for new users, starting with a new device, and things that can be changed out of box and at first boot with No SIM inserted.

I got annoyed with Lithium formatting, so I haven't finished it - but here are a few Apps that can be disabled without breaking the device.

here is a new out of box device

Then this is what you can strip it down to... even further if you really want

Interesting.

But why would you disable both "Album" and "Google photo"?

And I still see "Album"  as icon on what's left? Same with Chrome.

They are both on the "disabled" list but still shows on the screen as icons?

Maybe I have totally misunderstood Slightly_smiling_Face
