What is the way of adding custom ringtones to the non-rooted phone ?
I'd like to add custom the ringtones. Upload them, listen to them, select. remove etc. The phone is stock unrooted one.
So the questions are:
- what directory do I have to upload them to ?
- do I need some refresh procedure for Sound settings app to see my files just now ?
- have I reboot the phone each time I change the ringtone files for the sound apps able to see them ?

@MumMum222 You can put them anywhere on the device internal or SD card memory. There is the sound picker under settings - sound - phone ringtone which lets you choose after your desired file.

The easiest way to add a ringtone is to copy the audio file directly into a folder named / Ringtones (using any file manager application). When the audio file is there, it will appear when you select a ringtone in the Settings menu> Main audio.
