Vodacom unlock?

I've just purchased a sony xz premium. I haven't had it unlocked as yet. It would appear the phone is ok to unlock as there are 5 attempts available. The issue I have is the network the phone is on is Vodacom, which I believe is the south African arm of Vodafone. Will I be able to get an unlock code easily enough from ebay or not? I've ordered a pay as you go sim from Vodafone UK. I will try this in the phone to see if it works ok. Any advice will be much appreciated!

Welcome to the community,

You would need to contact the network carrier the handset was intended for the network unlock code, I suggest sending them an email for instructions on how this is done. I do not suggest using third parties for codes as you could very well lose money and get nothing in return.
