Can somebody confirm whether the xz2 premium has the RGBW sub-pixel structure or the standard standard RBG sub-pixel structure like on the older xz premium.
This is a deciding factor as RBGW is pentil matrix and we all know how bad it has an impact on images.
This source says its rbgw but I'm still not 100% convinced on reliable this source is without photos.

Hi there, I don't know if this answers your question at all but I did take a super macro shot of the XZ2 Premium panel to compare with xz premium.
The xz premium
The zig-zag style of pixel layout shows some wavy details at the edge.
The XZ2 Premium
Next to a note9 on the left, the XZ2 premium on the right, the white pixels in the ring do indeed look white and not made up of RGB, however, the panel imo looks FAR better than xzp due to not having the zig-zag style layout giving much cleaner details in both 1080p and 2160p
yeah I do agree the rbgw arrangment on the xz2p looks way sharper than the full rbg on the xzp which is surprising. Are both the xzp and xz2p shots taken are the same super macro level?
Not on this cropped one but I do have the originals at home which are indeed taken at the same macro distance and size.
