Slow motion

Is it possible to record super slow motion on the sd card? What is the speed on the internal memery, because here are SD cards  with 95mb r/w and if it is faster then internal memory can you extend the 960 fps slow motion video to 0.5sec/960fps=480fps total= 16sec with 30fps slow motion?

The internal ufs storage of the xzp supports Up to 600mb/s so it's a Bit faster than a sd Card.

I also don't understand the other question. What exactly do you want?

XZpremium can capture 960 fps for 0.2sec or less, this are 960/5 = 192 frames captured = 6.4 sec with 30 frames. I found now 250mb write speed micro sd card. I cant make photo with 1280x720 but i made 1920x1080 which is more than double  the size of 720p and it was around 700kb. If it was 720 then I will get something around 330kb. 330 *960 = 316 mb per second with 960 fps. If you are right with 600mb/s XZ premium must to capture 1080p 960 fps non stop with no problem. If you are not and XZP has slower memory then can this SD card with 250mb write speed capture more time slow motion because 250 is enought for minimum 0.5 sec which is around 158mb.I want to know is this limitation coming from the transfer between the sensor > processor> memory or it is memory limitation. XZ2 premium can capture 0.4 sec 960fps double to XZP. The sensor is same, only the processor is 835 in XZP and 845 in XZ2P.

the slow motion part of a taken video isn´t wirtten directly to the internal storage. The Image prozessor has his own dram cache. if you start capturing the Slow motion, the images are stored into that cache until it´s full and then transfered to the UFS storage. To make sure the video doesn´t get laggy while the normal 30fps video and the slow motion part are stored simultaiously to the internal storage, you need a high bandwith storage with good parallel transfer performance.

Could you also tell me, where you find the information about the 0.4s 960fps? Everywhere i look, i find the same details as on the xz premium and xz2.

there are just two differences between the XZP and the XZ2P. The XZ2P now has a f2.0 aperature instead of an f1.8 and it is able to do 960fps@1080p but with only 0.1s.
