I have the XZ3 (H9493) I purchased this variant because I wanted the extra 2GB of RAM, I live in the US. I have 3 other phones that recently, through Messages update enabled RCS messaging. The XZ3 unfortunately does not have it, even though the app is up to date. I noticed in the system apps any kind of RCS related app was missing. I'm hoping that Sony will enable this feature in the very near future through an update. Sony should have known that their fans from the US and Europe would gravitate towards the one with extra RAM, so this feature shouldn't have been removed even though it's the Taiwanese variant.
