NFC Issues on XZ Premium

Hi, 

I've just signed up to Google Pay, 

I've gone to try to use my phone a couple of times to pay for items, in places such as Tescos, Sainsburys and Mcdonalds to name a few, bit when I move my phone to the reader, absolutely nothing happens, no beep, no vibration. And I cant complete the purchase.

I've been on to Google pay support  and I've had no luck with them, to the point that they have stopped responding to emails. 

Can anyone here point me in the right direction?

Or will it be a case of taking the phone to be repaired??

After turning on the NFC (settings >Device Connection >Toggle the NFC switch) try testing it with another NFC compatible device (another phone or other device with NFC).

I've tried this and nothing seems to working with any other device (phones etc)

My NFC works but not for contactless payments, very frustrating.

Did you get any response anywhere else? Did you find out how to fix this?
