So I wasn't even thinking about buying a phone till last week when the screen started to come off of my Z3C, but now I'm looking at buying a new phone. The screen thing affected the proximity sensor and it's really difficulty to get the top menu to come down. I've heard of people having other problems as well.
The biggest thing for me is size really so I'm pretty dead set on the XZ1 and I like the new design too.
I'm concerned if there have been any problems with these phones or the XZ1 since the Compact hasn't been out too long. Whether they be external (Like the screen issue the Z3 had) or internal issues.
And would anyone say no, I shouldn't buy the XZ1C and instead look for something else? I'm only interested in phones that are like 5 inches (The body, not the screen). I just checked and it seems like the only other phone with good specs that is small is the iPhone SE, and I don't want an iPhone.
