Anyone know? Not seen it mentioned anywhere.
Lol do you even understand what you read???
Those headphone doesn't have NC.
Either you go wired or wireless but none mode have NC feature. Same for XZ2.
If you don't know, dont misslead people

It does support, as they market "2-way style" direct connect to the Type-C connection or Bluetooth.
I think there is a tiny technicality of it's Bluetooth NC, vs, wired and tech inside phone. The cord allows charging headset at the same time.
Now my question is: When plugged in, do you get the DNC digital noise cancelling audio setting in Xperia Music, or do you get 1000X line of a seprate app to download?
In specifications there is no any Bluetooth NC, so where did you found this information or why do you think like this, it's unclear to me. "I think" it's not fact, your opinion is just yours opinion, but this is not fact. I agree with ClarkLong, don't mislead users, even if you don't know
I think a simple "those are not noise cancelling" would have been enough.
Not everyone understands the technical side of DNC.

Well if you don't know something, you can ask... this forum is for this reason, i think What is the point to write things which you don't know? I don't know a lot of things too, the same new features in smartphones as DNC and many others. But i checked official specifications in Sony web site, i did not saw "noice cancelation" option, if you don't see something, maybe this feature isn't, you don't think so?
No need to discuss this and drift to off-topic. Just be nice while replying to others.

Off-topic, nice? Where is off-topic or rude? I just siad my opinion, believe me really nice. It's not true, that if you don't know something you can ask, why to write something what you don't know? Wow... this one was... Wow

Whoa... what just happened?
I'm not trying to be misleading.
XZ2 has no noise canceling built in.
Go buy a Bluetooth Noise Canceling headset. i.e. Sony WH‐1000xM2
is that clear enough?
Or go buy a phone that has NC built-in like the Sony Xperia XZ Premium, with Sony MDR-NC750.
^ I see my error, I corrected myself. Those headphones do not have DNC, but the Sony WI-1000X does.
I think the noise cancelling GSM arena is referring to is the cancelling of background noises when on a call. The specs for the charging / headphones splitter specifically states it doesn't support MDR-NC31EM or MDR-NC750 which are the wired digital noise cancelling headsets. Bluetooth headsets will have their own noise cancelling tech built in .

So, basically Sony just spit in the face of everyone who have been using Active Noise Canceling on their phones since the Z1 by getting rid of the 3.5mm jack AND the Active Noise Canceling.
I have those headsets since the Z3 ... useless if I upgrade. Congratulations Sony, you just pulled an Apple.
Can they walk more backwards now?
Lack of noise cancelling on the SBH 90C feels like a missed opportunity as it could easily be implemented for both wired and wireless use, plus there's been no marketing for this headset as far as I've seen
