Have you researched in this forum bluetooth drops?

Do you have developer options enabled?

If not then turn that on.

Then go to settings > system > developer options > scroll down and under "networking" there is a section called "Bluetooth AVRCP Version" tap on this and there are three choices. 1.6 is the newest...try 1.4 and 1.5 and see if either of these helps.

Please KUDO if I helped.

@Jonshanks what isn't switching on for you? if you tap the build number enough times, you should see a small message on the bottom of the screen saying "congratulations, you're a developer now" for a few seconds. then you should see Developer options in Settings > System, between Backup and Xperia Backup & Restore entries.

Settings-System-About Phone ->tap rapidly on Build number.

You'll get a message that you're soon a Developer and then success.

Developer options is then available under Settings-System.

Hi. I've set up the developer settings and I've changed the versions of Bluetooth however Bluetooth will still not switch on in my phone.

So you do not have the same issue as the first poster.........

Do a software repair or send it in via a local service senter for a checkup/repair.
