I have recently switched from GiffGaff to Smarty a new mobile service.
I used PAC to keep number and Im able to make calls but I cant get online.
Smarty gave me the following info for manually entering APN details -
SMARTY APN settings
I have no automatic settings for three, though "Smarty" does show with a house on searched networks for 4G,3G and 2G.
IVe entered the above settings and its still unable to get online with mobile data (wifi is fine).
I have tried a suggestion I found on these forums about using the "Internet Settings" and downloaded something ie it came up "download started" and then a square appears in the top left with a tick but I cant see anything thats actually been downloaded anywhere.
Dont know what else to try ?
There are alot of settings in the manual APN list that arent mentioned on the above Smarty list, so Im assuming I jusr ignore them?

Only difference is the APN field.
But I've not got a 3G or 4G connection yet. I've never had a good signal in this building on EE either though, so I'll update after my lunch when I've been outside.
I've also been waiting since Friday morning for my number to be transfered.
Number finally got transfered. Still no 3/4G internet acces with eaithe mob.asm.net or three.co.uk settings
I got a connection using the setting in my first reply, was a few hours between setup and anything happening though.
Only worked for me when I didn't use the proxy address and port.
